This study aims to develop a valid and reliable assessment tool for the of safety skills individuals with intellectual disabilities, examine effectiveness Safety Skills Instruction Program (SSIP) in teaching these individuals, determine preservation after instruction by observation, views parents students respecting skills. research is designed an explanatory sequential design, which one mixed methods. The examination construct validity process has indicated that Test (SST) structure four factors. 540 disabilities participated development measurement tool, 32 implementation curriculum. It determined level mild who have attended higher than ones not attended, according mean ranks. found are preserved at rate 85–85%, observation data gathered week later. According result interview data, feel pleased about think been learned large extent.
